"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder",
"Anyone can be an art critic"; cliches of the
hour.

No, I really didn't think that you would give
away your sources. I was joking. On the other
hand, for something that you think is
not "valuable" to buy, namely DB cels, what would
be your loss? ;) Not everyone can go to France
and "buy a bunch of them".

But you have been very informative. Debating with
you is interesting, in a sort of condescending
way.

Believe me I understand what you are saying! I am
not disagreeing about "Quality Vs Quantity". What
I am saying is that it doesn’t matter. It is what
the people want! I refuse to get into an art
debate, everyone has their opinions.

It is the same thing with DBZ, Even if it looks
stupid to you, it may "feel good" for some to win
an auction, especially for those with gambling in
their blood! DBZ/GT auctions have tended to be
very active, with many competitors---It creates
an atmosphere---This is auction fever! It is more
psychological, than anything else. Most people
want to win, some more than other's. They forget
about reason. I don't see that kind of cutthroat
competitiveness with other anime on a day-in-day
out basis as compared to other auctions on
YahooJP and eBay. It just appears like there are
a lot of more (fish) out there now and everyone
is trying to cash in! This could have a backlash
of course and do more harm than good. The same
could be said of the Stock Market
though, "whatever goes up, must come down",
except the Mona Lisa.
