Yup, these are all good points.
Me? I have just recently found myself in a
broken stupor thanks to overspending, and
stressing out big time over not catching
updates. It's really getting to me, I was
starting to fall into the pitt of demise! I am
lucky, I have a sizeable reserve of money to fall
back on, but I use that reserve as ground
zero...going into that reserve is like going into
debt for me. To change that, I have only focused
on ONE show to collect from...well, two, or
three, but only if the deal is very good. That
one show I like is my main control factor. I try
to look at a cel, and decide whether or not I
will love it in a year, or two, or three. If I
will like a cel for more than that, I will buy
it. It's easy to get all caught up in this
stuff, cause it's so damned fun to get new stuff,
and show it off to everyone and watch them oooh,
and ahhh over it. But it's not worth getting
into money trouble.
I think writing out your priorities is a good way
to get organized, and keep from overdoing it. I
just now over did it this month, this is the
first time since I got back into the hobby that I
have really botched my spending. AND, now Im
having to sell stuff I really like just go make
up for some other things. I will NEVER let this
happen again, too much worrying whether or not
I'll have enough for bills. Good luck, and I
hope all this helps a bit. The best thing to do
is just stay OFFLINE....I wish I could make
myself do that....but...I..just, cant keep from
looking..at...KEEP TRACK AND CELGA!!
AHHHHHHHHH!! evil, Evil, EVILLLL! **but it's a
good evil**
