I want to see more positive posts and less complaining! (Thu Jan 17 07:30:33 2002 )

Oh man, I don't even know why I am posting this
message. Probably going to get chew up like a big
fat piece of steak by a mad dog. But I have to
say what's on my mind.

Ever since Leigh started her silent auction,
there are tons of messages posted saying that FY
cel prices are outrageous, or I can't believe
people will spent this much on this cel. This is
a silent auction people, whoever wants it most
gets the cel. The market has little to do with
the prices. If you are going by the market price,
then more than likely you are not going to win.

Instead of being a poor sport (this line is going
to get me killed, probably), congratulate the
winner, and be a man or woman about it. That's
what you would do in a real sport activity,
right? The same thing applies here!

Think of the winner who bought the cel for that
much, and read your posts. I would be hurt by
them. If it was you, you would be too.

I can relate to the feeling of losing on your
bids, and not getting the cel that you want, and
you want to complain and let out your
frustration. But you have to put that aside, and
be wise and be a good sport.

That's all I have to say. I hope to see
more "Congrats to whoever got this ???? cel"
or "Whoever got this ???? cel is one lucky guy or
gal" messages." We are all reasonable adults
here, I hope you can relate to what I am saying!
Thanks for your time!

This message isn't meant to start any fires. I
just want the people who are complaining to
realize the effect of your posts on the winners,
and readers like me.

(and No I didn't win one of the most competed
cels, I didn't even participate.)
