I have one person with whom I can share this 
hobby.  He is my roommate and best friend, and is 
only interested in anime and cels because I am, 
so no competition and a rather huge helping 
hand.  ^_^  

Other than he, I met some really nice people at a 
convention last (was it?) October, but I didn't 
get to stay long and am not real sociable anyway, 
at least not in the first half hour.  So, that's 
my own fault.  ^_^;;  

I have cautiously tried just about everyone I 
know around me, and the closer friends and family 
are really kind - and so obviously don't 
understand.  Those who aren't so close I don't 
allow to hold the cel books anymore because of 
the flippant way they browse through them.  -_-*
