Yahoo PayDirect has for some time had the advantage 
over PayPal of not charging fees.  As of Dec. 17th 
they will have fees (slightly lower than PayPal's, 
IIRC), but at least give the flexibility of 
allowing the sender to pay the fees.

However...PayDirect has always been horribly slow 
getting money into my bank account.  PayPal takes 
2-4 days, while PayDirect takes 6-8.  This is 
awkwardly long; it would be faster to send a money 
order.  (Also, since PayDirect is less widely 
accepted, the odds that I can use the money for 
something directly rather than having to move it to 
my bank account are small.)

Of course, Yahoo may just hate my bank for some 
reason.
