Okay here's what happens to me ...

I pay for an auction (or something) using my 
paypal accout.  A day or two goes buy and I get 
an email telling me that someone has illegally 
accessed my bank account and my Paypal account 
has been FROZEN.  So I try to stay calm and go to 
check out my account ... well not only did paypal 
free the bad guys from my account, they also 
froze me out of it.  I couldn't login.  So when I 
try to go search for help to get things like an 
email address or better yet PHONE NUMBER to call  
I'm told that I need to LOGIN in order to get 
that info!  Imagine that, I can't even do that!  
Okay, so after cursing every four letter word and 
then some, I figure out a way to trick paypal 
into changing my password (so I can get into my 
account) and then manage to make contact with 
paypal so I can get some info.  Mind you the 
contact is the email variety so I have to wait 
for a reply.  It turns out (by me viewing my 
account) that no illegal access was made (I 
confirmed this with my bank).  So paypal lifts 
the freezing but then proceeds to tell me that 
since it was once frozen I'm no longer able to 
have this bank account available.  (All this is 
under security ... remember I've already tricked 
them into changing my password on an account that 
was supposed to be frozen).  So since they said 
the bank account could no longer be used or 
reinstated, I deleted it from the account.  
Curious as to how secure their security was, I 
attempted to reinstate it again.  So I put in the 
info and amazingly Paypal made those 2 deposits!  
(Remember this very same account wasn't supposed 
to be EVER reaccessible via paypal).  So I 
thought this was too good to be true ...so when I 
found out what the deposits were I filled in the 
blanks in the paypal for and once again 
Paypal's 'security' system allowed me to 
reinstate my account ....

So Paypal has little if any security ... I 
managed to avert two major security issues that 
they 'take pride' in to not only get access to my 
account (when it was supposedly blocked 
completely) and they I was able to get the very 
same account that was supposed to be banned from 
use (because some non-existent person attempted a 
non-existent illegal access that paypal said 
happened).  So please don't have any faith in 
their security.  They never resolved this issue 
on their end (eventually I called the company and 
never had a return phone call).  And I had people 
who were waiting for auction payments which this 
slowed them done.  Paypal users beware.  This 
could happen to you!
