I too have a personal per cel spending limit, a 
bit higher than Drac's but less than 4 figures.  
Only once have I broken that spending limit, but 
to me that cel was worth it and I have no regrets. 
 I did buy some other cels that were within my 
limit, but later regretted it as they were more an 
impulse buy.  I usually eventually sell those off 
after a couple of years as just don't get as much 
enjoyment out of them.  I try to control my 
impulse buying now, where when I was new to the 
hobby in 97/98 I bought about everything I liked 
in sight and got myself almost into a bad 
situation financially.

With your cel, I would wait til you actually have 
the cel in your possession to see how you feel.  
One time I was feeling a little guilty about 
buying a cel as it was at the time my most 
expensive purchase - but when it arrived and I 
actually had it in my hand all guilt faded away as 
it was so beautiful and it has remained one of my 
favorite cels for 4 years now.  If you still feel 
guilty after holding it, I would consider trying 
to sell it as it will be causing more pain then 
joy in the owning.
