I am shocked when I see some of the prices people 
are willing to fork over for some series: FY, 
DBZ, X1999 and such. I realize that these are one 
of a kind items, and some titles are a rarer find 
than others, but $1200 is a down payment on a car 
folks!The most I've ever paid on a cel is $225, 
and I have NO regrets about my beautiful Melfina. 
Unless we are talking Mononoke Hime or something 
comparable, there is not reason to pay four 
figures for a cel. Don't get me wrong, I am not 
badmouthing people on this board who have done 
this. I am just saying it is not something I 
bring myself to do at this point in my life. If 
you are a collector, and you find that one shot 
that you have been waiting years to buy, and you 
spend $800 or $1000, that is one thing. But for 
these people who reflexively put $1000 bids on 
every DBZ cel they can find, I really pity them.
