This baiting of bidders with a low opening bid is damned cruel!
I mean, you starting an auction off at $1 with a reserve of $50 in
example is rediculous even if you intend to offer the item later
to the high bidder for whateva price.
It's really frustrating. I've heard of people setting a very high
reserve so that they wouldn't have to pay the commision to the auction
folks. But it's still cruel to bidders!
