First of all, I'd like to thank Yann for putting this forum
up in the first place. Thanks Yann!!

Anyway, if there really are large numbers of cheap cels still for sale in
Japan, some enterprising individual will buy them there and sell them here
(at a profit, in all likelihood.) Going to Japan isn't cheap, and it will
take while to recover from the costs.
There are some folks doing this already.
Why ? Those market forces mentioned above.
Higher prices are an incentive to strive harder to meet the demand.

As far as Ed Noonchester is concerned, he's got some rare cels that
I can't say I've seen anywhere else, especially those classics from
the 80s and obscure stuff NO ONE has ever heard of! This is fantastic
to me since dealers may not know the value of the cel, but it could aslo
backfire-low supply, but even lower demand, and in order to make the same
amount of profit as low mark-up but a high volume of sales, then the
price might be higher.

Adam Smith was right !
