"one dealer's worship of his own cels, i think i could have
bought his soul with my collection."

Are you referring to the guy in the right corner next to
the front exit door? (Trying to think how to explain
the location :P) He had tons of cel books, and many
Sailor Moon cels (in 2 or 3 books), but only half a dozen
NICE ones... and the junk SM cels were SOOOO expensive! I
was looking through his Dragonball cels, and I exclaimed
something (without thinking, of course) like, "Geez,
$110 for a Goku cel?!?" (I mean, he's not the most hard-
to-find character, and this one didn't even have a
background or anything!) and he replied, "Now, those are
REAL animation PRODUCTION cels!" He said that like I was
a 4 year old. I looked at him and said, "Yeah, I know... I
collect production cels."

There were 1 or 2 dealers who were semi-fairly priced there;
most of the cels were either junk (EXPENSIVE junk, I might
add!) or really nice, and those were wayyyy beyond my price
range. Anime Pavillion was there, too... they had some
good cds, but their cels weren't worth glancing twice at.
Same grade-C (and less) cels that are on their page, SOOOO
overpriced.

Thank heavens for Taro, Animanga, Anime-cel.com and a few
other good sites (I'm not trying to leave anyone out here,
promise, just don't feel like typing up my whole book-
mark list!!) who offer lovely cels at a good price...
otherwise I'd have to go back to comic book collecting (and
that's really not THAT much better!)
