I remember digging through his cel books in a random 
direction, and asking if he had any Gundam W mecha pan cels,
 and somehow that led into him pulling out his collection of 
very um... interesting backdrops and then his stack of 
hentai. -Very- adult cels. I was dying laughing afterwards, 
though ^^; But I daresay, he didn't treat his cels very well. 
Those pan cels mentioned were flopped unprotected on the top
 of a crate.

True, all of the production cels at AWA were so expensive. I
 was tempted to get the FY omake picture at Pavilion for 
$175 (luckily my friend beat that notion out of me), but oh,
 I did so want the Sharon Apple cel that Splash had displayed. 
Unfortunately House Of Anime hadn't brought their cel inventory, 
though. But there was one table in the other room that was 
selling the Eva hand-painted cels for $20 each. 

Overall, AWA was rather disappointing, after AX. The cabaret
 was -so- messed up, and the elevators were so slow (for us 
on the 15th floor) (probably due to tipsy otakus jumping in
 them or something), but I heard the dance DJs were awesome,
 at least, in the unofficial dance room.
