It is not your place to say or do anything. I do not even
know the cel you are talking about, but you said you sold
it to the other person. So it is now the property of the
other person, and that person can do whatever he or she
wants with the cel (resell, keep it, burn it, whatever)
since you have been paid and parted with the cel.
I think most of us have seen cels we have sold on eBay or
resold for higher prices at one time or another, and it is
sometimes irritating to think, "I only sold it for half
of that... I could have made more money." But it is not
like we own stock options in the cel or anything - once it
is sold to someone else, it belongs to that person to do
whatever he or she wants.
And the buyer (if educated) should realize that the background
is not matching. If not, well, backgrounds are nice. The
bidder will offer what the cel is worth to him or her. |
