Well... a few points I would bring up:
1. This seller is not totally ignorant of Sailor Moon-- he
knows who the character is at least, what show she's from,
and has a bit of a concept of when the character appears or
disappears...even if he hasn't watched every frame like
you may have. He even says *I think* in the description...
This is definitely not the worst case of accuracy I've
seen on ebay. But I do know what you're talking about.
The important thing is whether a grossly inaccurate
listing is corrected when somebody emails the seller about
it.
2. If this seller was as big a Sailor Moon fan as you are,
he might actually have kept the cel. I think anime-
cel.com has a very good disclaimer about this sort of thing-
- they are collectors, and they KEEP the cels from shows
they know all about, and sell the ones they are less
familiar with. Cels don't come with a booklet or name tags-
- the image is all you have to go by, so as a dealer you
have to fill in the blanks yourself.
3. I would just look at his feedback and the price of the
item and make your decision on that basis, not whether he
is totally up on his trivia. The price seems a bit steep,
but I don't collect or watch SM, so I wouldn't really know.
