It figures. I remember what happened when I 
visited Hong Kong and spoke English even though I 
always had people around me who could speak 
fluently. 

But the reason for the crash course is so I can 
can speak Japanese, even if badly, by the time I 
go. 

I just hope I don't sound like an anime 
character. On second thought, perhaps I should 
aspire to sound like one....
