Okay, I'm furious at the stupid and irresponsible
postal service (what else is new)...

Has this happened to anyone else mailing a 
package to a foreign country?

I mailed a cel to someone in France on Feb. 5th
via international EXPRESS mail... as of today
(Feb. 27th) it still has not been delivered and
the website shows only that it was received 
in Miami, FL on Feb 6th... and the customer 
service representative tells me that their
computer will only tell them that it hasn't
left the USA yet...

Worse yet, the customer rep. says the USPS can't
help me.  They gave me a long-distance number for
the customs center - which I called, and then
*they* told me that *they* can't help me, they
only handle *incoming* packages and I must call
the USPS.

(*** screaming and pulling out hair ***)

Now the USPS rep. tells me their computers are
down and they can't help me...

Anyone know how long before you claim a package
as lost?  Has anyone else had a cel (or any
package, I guess) they mailed or had mailed to
them delayed this much or lost??

This stupid express system is supposed to be
*guaranteed* and traceable, but no one seems
able to do anything (or even want to *try*)...
