How does someone justify paying a million 
dollars for a Rembrant? Now of course a cel is 
not the same; or is it? Its artwork, isn't it? 
When you walk into a museum and see all the 
different paintings, you can image at sometime 
that those pictures were considered passe'. 
  You should remember that cel collecting is a 
relatively new hobbie. Even though some veteren 
collectors have been around awhile most people 
have just started. The internet has made a huge 
difference by bringing buyers and sellers from 
all over the world together to collect. This 
allows a person in the middle of nowhere to walk 
into a cel shop they never knew even existed and 
buy a cel from one of their favorite series. As 
long as people love the animes that the cels 
produce, there will always be a market for the 
cels. Think of this: a premo cel of bugs bunny 
(everyone loves bugs) can sell for around $4000, 
bugs bunny was made when? 1950s?
