Okay, all you who are ranting and raving about
being 27 and 28 just better watch it. ^_^
I am 24 and you are making me feel OLD!!! That's
just wrong!!! Okay, with that out of the way.
Some very good points rg,
I feel the same way with FY cels as you do about
CB. I have watched over the past couple of years
as good cels get fewer and furthur apart, and the
prices are going up, although at this point I
wonder where all the cels are going, since I
almost never see any really good ones anymore
(good in the sense of something I want but don't
have I guess. :D)
I have been suffering a lot from a guilt complex
for the cels I do buy, and frustration for the
cels I don't. I am realizing that spending all
my money on cels isn't really all that fun
anymore but I really *am* addicted- I am trying
to figure out a way to stop but it's hard, I work
a fairly boring computer job where I'm tied to a
desk and a phone, and the only excitement I get
is searching for cels. With the way the market
is, it's easy to get into the "impulse buy" habit
and spending too much or get something that you
don't want as much as you thought.
I'm starting to think about things like getting a
house someday, and also have the "grown up" bills
like you have. I also haven't spent more than
about $200 on a cel, and that only 3 times.
The truth is, on two of the cels, I did feel
justified just because I enjoy them so much. But
I am starting to feel bad about all the money I
have spent so far, and battling trying to stop
collecting (heeheheee, there are still cels I
need...oh wait...doh...) and trying to decide if
and which cels I have that I could be living
without. Any ideas kids ;) ?
