What, You say you know Japanese or you think you know it...

I have been in Japan for 10 plus years now, And in all honesty I
sometimes do not understand what is going on, And this goes
double for Sci-Fic Anime..Man to many Katakana words.

If you think you can learn Japanese at school or college for Anime...
.......FORGET IT......

I know a lot of you LIKE to think you can speak/understand it.If you
are one of these people the next time you rent an anime you
haven't seen or read the manga of, turn your back to the TV and try
and describe what is going on...

I have yet to see a dubbed anime, have seen a couple with
subtitles and man some where pretty badly done.

While in Japan go and watch an American Comedy at a theater and
you will find what is more funnier than the movie in when the only
people laughing in the theater is other Gaijin and you. so much for
subtitled western films, I wonder if the same is true for anime.... ?

The Golden Rule Japanese : The longer you live in Japan the more
you find out you DON'T know.
