Yes, it's in the eye of the beholder. I can see
both sides to it. There's something really
unique about having the cel in all of it's
original glory... But..on the other hand, if the
glory is damaged, and when I say damaged I mean
it in the truest sense of the word, Id rather
have it fixed. Truth be told, when fixing
something is done properly you cant even tell it
was fixed. Like with old cars. When they're
newly painted and reworked they look marvelous!
I just posted all this info because Im so picky
about my cel's line quality. I wont buy a cel if
the line fading is bad enough, I dont care how
nice a shot it is. Its a personal preference. I
only have a couple of cels with fading. One of
them is one of my best cels. Its just so
saddening to me to see that it has that damage,
which might be easily fixed, and undetectable to
the untrained eye. Who knows, Im suffering brain
freeze right now. I just hope this info can at
least help some of you guys with questions about
lines, paint, framing, storage etc. This is
valuable information for every collector. Enjoy!

::must quit yapping now, sugar is wearing off::
