Hi,

First of all thanks for this thread, you have
rebuilt my confidence on my restored cels. At
first I thought they will decline in value, even
though I loved the art work more after
restoration, now after knowing it may not affect
the value if done properly, I am even more happy
with it.

I've restored 4 cels in all, and all of them
because of line fading. I know, I know, 4 cels
are nothing comparing to the pros that have been
doing this for years, but I have been drawing
since 4, so I am pretty good at it. I just got
this Tenchi pan cel in today, and the Ryoko layer
have line fadings, especially around her face and
chest area. So, I did a little work on it, and
now it looked like I should have paid a lot more
for this cel.

So, my suggestion is, if you have a cel that you
loves a lot, and needs restoration, don't let its
beauty fade away. Find a pro, or do it yourself
if you can.

Here is the cel I restored today, you can see a
larger pic on my website. Good luck to you all!
