This instantly raises the issue of communal ethics.
(Sorry, philosphy major). I am not a Cel collector. I am
a Sailormoon collector who owns some cels. I do not participate
in Cel discussions. I don't have any friends who collect Cels.
I buy them to add to my collection of general Sailormoon stuffs.
To me a cel is just like a Doll or pencil board.

I don't know and therefor cannot follow the code of ethics of the
cel collecting community.

All I know is the laws that governs copywritten images.

What I see happening is the Cel community is enforcing it's
code of ethics on someone who is not a member of the community
without first making and attempt to explain the code. Is this
not an unethical manner of actions?
