I do it both to show off and because I
genuinely feel that these works of art
should be seen and enjoyed by all.

I agree with you that cel scans SHOULD
be public property.  I don't mind when
someone uses scans from my site.  In
fact I am flattered.  It doesn't matter
to me whether they give me proper credit
or no.  What's important to me is that the
image gets a larger audience and more
people get to enjoy the cel.  

But that's just me.  I realize that many
people don't feel the same way; so when I
do wish to use an image from someone
else's site, I will ask.  It's just the
polite thing to do.
