There have been many suprisingly good points in this thread-
it's just they're a little hard to find because they are 
obscured by all the venemous comments surrounding them.
Frankly, as cel collectors, we don't have "rights".  It
drives me crazy to see what some dealers do- like jacking 
up the prices on cels of popular characters to buying cels
from other dealers only to sell again at a mark up.
As collectors, we are at their mercy- they provide the cels (our hobby).
But as dealers, they are at our mercy- we provide their profit.
There is a bit of an extra prick for collectors though- stupid collectors who will pay insane amounts for some cels ruin it for the rest of us- so that's our sob story.
As for dealers making a living- I am tired of the whining!!!
I am sorry, but there are many other jobs out there- I'd much rather run an anime shop than work at my current job.
That is a choice a professional dealer makes, trading security for enjoyment- my income may be a bit more secure, but it's a lot less fun, and that's my choice.
But for once, can't a dealer admit he is trying to make a quick couple hundred on a cel, cause, hey, we all like money?  That he is selling it for that much because some sucker will pay that much, and not because it cost him so much extra?  Not because, without a 300% markup, his kids can't have milk?  :P
