Re: Making backgrounds - Air brush vs. watercolor (Fri Apr 14 19:58:53 2000 )

I always thought that backgrounds are watercolor paintings,
hmm, that shows just how much I know about backgrounds.
The backgrounds that I own anyway (3 of them) are all
watercolored, what does an air brushed background look like?
Can you show one Aethel?

If I am to purchase a cel with background, I prefer the
original matching background. I would not pay extra for
a non-matching or non-original background. But I see no
harm in someone wanting to add a background to the cel
they own to make it look better. As to telling everybody
that the background is a copy, I think that would be
completely up to the owner. Sure, if someone wants to buy
the cel, then that info must be disclosed. But just as
a picture on your web page, I don't think that's important
at all.

Just my $0.02

-ix needs more money!
