It is not much help to how you feel, but you
are insured by the post office for damages.
You will have to present the package and file a
form with them, but you are covered monetarily
(not much to the issue, I know) by your money
order purchase--postal, yes?--and the shipment
of the package. They will inspect the package to
see how the damage could have occured.
<<

Unfortunately, this usually means that the package must be
originally opened at the post office, and since the box
was in perfect condition, I did not do this. I can try, but
it probably won't make any difference. Also, I do not know
how this applies to international shipments. If I can get
some money back, at least that might help pay for repairs.

As for repairs, on exCel's site under the U-Try section
I think they have two places listed that will do
repairs...
<<

I'll have to check them out, thanks. I already have enough
money sinked into this that more won't matter too much this
time.

>>
Hope that helps some.

Curious, though, personally do you think that the cel
was packed well/protected enough?
<<

Well, the cel, along with another, was shipped in a box,
wrapped in bubble wrap. Neither were in cel bags, and the
damaged one was at the bottom. I'm guessing that the paint
was somewhat loose, but not noticibly before shipping, and
the friction and climate changes for the two weeks shipping
loosened the weakened area. I found paint fragments between
the bubbles in the wrap, as the cel was shipped with the
bubble-side touching it. I suppose the addition of cel
bags could have prevented this. However, as I said, I am
guessing.

At any rate, I've an exam in 4 hours, so I suppose I should
stop dwelling on my problems, and try to get some sleep =/
