DEPUTY SERVICE NEEDS WORK! (Fri Sep 15 20:07:18 2000 )
joanne

IF you are seriously considering using Deputy
Service, please be aware of what you are getting
yourself into. The individual that acts as the
middleman between you and the seller in Y Japan,
charges a HEFTY 20% commission [nonwaivable or
negiotable] to your final winning bid(s).

Additionally on a personal note, I've attempted
to work with this guy but he isn't very good with
his email correspondence at all! Sent him three
emails with three days, it took the guy a week to
get reply! And that was after I got outbid, not
much help there is he? Afterall IF he got back to
me earlier I could naturally give him a new
highest bid.

So simply put IF you really have to get a cel
from Yahoo Japan, D.S. is an option albeit an
expensive one that does cause alot of confusion
b/c the guy relies on a Japanese/English
translator. Recently I had him bid on six
auctions, when he finally wrote back he told me I
got outbid. I thought at the time well it is nice
you told me, but uhm... for what freaking
auction?! Which additionally points to the fact
that D.S. doesn't keep track of their clients
email correspondence very well.

Lastly, all the aucions I bidded on have closed
but he still hasn't contacted me yet? It is
reasonable to expect some sort of professional
service for the amount of $$ D.S. is charging.
But alas, they are not very good at what they do.

Hopefully, you will be much more fortunate than I.
