Before I go off on a tirade, I want you to know one thing which has been left out of the
original post. When I tell you this I am sure, you will stop your slandering. Please
note, I do not speak for anyone but myself, but here goes.

Aloha Anime forgot to mention the reason WHY they were asked to take their VHD
cel down. The reason is because the cel that Aloha Anime had up was STOLEN.

Anime Link has the exclusive rights to VHD cels in America and Japan, direct from
the copyright holder. This doesn't mean they are the sole dealer and of course any
AUTHORIZED cel(s) that is purchased WHOLESALE or RETAIL is allowed to be sold
by anyone. No one said that this was prohibited. NOTE -ANY *AUTHORIZED*
CEL(S).

Now, Anime Link and their Japanese counterparts, Film Link, etc. have been working
very hard for MANY years, since VHD's conception. This includes the cel portion of
the business which they have painstakingly catalouged, sorted, bagged, etc. Now,
there are cel thieves in Japan. People who STEAL these cels from the studio. In
this case, D cels were stolen from the studio. Since the cels are catalouged, Anime
Link and co. know exactly which ones are stolen.

In America, if you sell stolen goods, it doesn't matter where you bought them from,
they can be confiscated. So in fact, Anime Link is doing Aloha Anime a favor in
warning them to take their STOLEN goods off the web. Of course, Aloha Anime
unkowingly purchased this STOLEN property, which is definitely taken into
consideration. The big favor comes in because since these cels are stolen, the
Japanese copyright holder is taking POLICE action which also will result in
American police action. Now, unless Aloha Anime wants their cel confiscated, OR
even worse, would like the customer(s) they sold it to to have their cel confiscated
then I would say Anime Link was being more than fair in giving them a warning.

This is not about someone trying to horde all the D cels. This is about a group of
companies working together to bring you the D cels. If it wasn't for Anime Link, the D
cels would have been sold in Japan first and you Americans would get last pick of
the lot like you normally do with most cels. Anime Link makes it possible for the
American side to get first pick.

No one is trying to be a bully. They are protecting their copyright and what is
RIGHTFULLY and LAWFULLY their property.

Anime Link and co. have worked VERY hard on this project and to have them get
their hard work stolen from right under their noses isn't what i would call a fair deal.

So before you start making these ridiculous accusastions which have no factual
basis, I suggest you learn ALL THE FACTS.
