I think the thing to be kept in mind here is that
even though something is *LEGAL* does not mean
that it is looked on kindly in a given community.
It is perfectly legal for someone to resell a cel
they have just received, HOWEVER. . . In this
community of ours, there are a great many people
(myself included) who severely look down on - and
sometimes refuse to deal with - chronic resellers.
Example? If someone begged my help to get a cel
cheap off Yahoo Japan only to turn around and toss
it on Ebay, they're legally entitled to do that.
But they will *never* see any future help from me
again.

Cels are expensive enough without everyone trying
to make a buck off them. As an example (since
Ebay is basically a US auction site), if a cel is
on a site available to US buyers, why buy it up
only to turn around and sell it *BACK* to US
buyers for more? All you're really doing is
**getting in the way** of someone who might have
really wanted it for themselves. This doesn't
even touch the aspect of certain things being
hard to find. Maybe the person looking for that
cel saw it at the update and missed it thanks to
you - but then didn't see it go up on Ebay. (Yes,
some people don't watch Ebay.)

And if you think this applies to only cels, it
doesn't. I equally look down on the people who
stalk toy stores for exactly when the shipments
come in, then walk out with all the hard to find
stuff - only so they can put it up on the wall of
their own store for three times as much. It's a
pathetic, slimy way to do business.

And those are *MY* two cents.

Many Sharp Smiles,
