I think the series artsyle fit VERY well for the 
Kenshin orginal OVAs.  

The new OVAs are gorgeous... but all those SD 
moments aren't there in the new OVAs.  Its a VERY 
dark take on the original series, and it reflects 
in the artsyle.

However, I think I did prefer the TV series 
artsyle.  *thinks*  Tho Kenshin's artsytle 
changes SO much from the beginning to the end.  
Personally, I think the artstyle at the end of 
the series was GORGEOUS.  Kenshin actually 
looked...well, like a man... and it just 
generally looked better to me.  However 
*scruntches nose* the plot left something to  be 
desire.  *hmph* ALOT to be desired...  ^_^

I would have prefered to see the new OVA in the 
late series artsyle... but no complaints.  Its 
still gorgeous... and its SOO cool seeing all the 
characters in OVA style.  ^_^ Sano's miss'n his 
hair gel....
