...because it's a gorgeous story, it really is. I 
dunno, I'm one of those people who really is into 
looking beyond the surface of things, even 
relating to anime. While it is a visual medium, I 
don't think anyone should discount a show totally 
just because they don't like the art style. You 
might be missing something wonderful. There is a 
message and value there that over-rules any 
ineptitude you may feel the character designs 
contain. It's like refusing to date someone 
because they don't look perfect...we can't expect 
every anime to look the same. I myself applaud 
Escaflowne for going against the norm for 
character designs (hell, I love the noses ;p). I 
don't mean to sound preachy,but please don't 
discount such a wonderful series because of, of 
all things, the noses. Erm...end mini-rant, I 
guess ^^;;;
