Hmmm, shipping methods...

Anime-cel.com has had a few shipments where I felt the cardboard
was a little thin, however, since the cel was not damaged and the
envelope was clearly marked fragile, artwork, and do not bend, I
guess their shipping methods worked. Other times, I've been
impressed with the length they went to protect the cel, especially
for one incredibly difficult to ship oversized one where they made
quite a wrapping of cardboard and cardboard tube supports to keep
it safe.

I do like Yann's boxes, because they seem safe and they're always
useful for other things. But he's not the only person to use boxes,
there are several, like ExCel and others and several individuals
I can't remember them all right now. I just have an awful lot of
boxes full of styrofoam peanuts lying around somewhere. I am
also impressed with Anime Shop Vi's wood supports. I would think
that most cel dealers know how to package a cel so it is safe,
because they do so much business, if it wasn't safe, I'm sure they
would be hearing about it a lot in complaints of damaged cels. I wonder
who's fault it would be though. Would it be the cel dealers or
would you have to take up the matter with your own postal service?
