I don't agree that "first come" is any more unfair
than other method. What is fair in random luck ? What
is fair in having huge amount of money ?

You can see things that way : What is "fairer" ?
To have hugh amoung of money and so be able to buy
all nice cels even if you don't realy care about them ?
(auction)

To be lucky and win a cel that you don't realy care
about and just registered like that ? (lottery)

Or to let the person that realy want to have the cel
and that will wake-up in the middle of the night to
check an update and be sure he won't miss it ?

I don't think this point of view is more or less biased
than yours. In the end, people who get what they want
will be happy and there will always be some of the others
to complain.

You say it's unfair for people that can't be often in
front of their computer. But then you should say it's
unfair for people that don't live in the same city
as a shop !?!

Even if you are not often infront of your computer,
you may get lucky and connect just when the update
is happening. What differance with being lucky at
a lottery ?!?

Oh yeah, you could do pretty complex system, giving
"points" to everybody that they can use to get priority
on one cel per month or something like that. But that's
totaly unusable for dealers. I much prefer spending
my time posting more cels (and so giving more chance
to people to get something they want) then doing fancy
calculation and trying to keep track of who got what
and when.
