Actually, my question was whether people did this
*intentionally*, on *any* auction site! I really did not
want to get into the whole Yahoo Japan controversey AGAIN!
But, since it was brought up, I can't resist saying again,

1) why don't people instead imagine how frustrating it is to
see a cel you can NOT buy, regardless of how much you can
spend,
2) I am NOT saying that people should break the rules
anywhere,
3) you risk the price going way up on ANY auction - don't
bid more than your willing to bid!!!!!
4) maybe Yahoo Japan should change their rules about the
final prices when the high bid has been canceled - has
anyone thought to complain about that, rather than complain
about american bidders in general
5) I still fail to see why we should feel sorry for Japanese
collectors when the prices increase in Japan because its a
world-wide hobby, but not feel sorry AT ALL for the american
collectors who are restricted from a good part of this
hobby because of where they live! I'm not saying we should
have a pity-party for anyone, I just don't see where one
problem is more important than another

and finally

6) NO, I do not beleive that anyone has the right to any cel
they want, where they want it, at the price they want it. I
may complain about the frustrations of the american cel
situation and others may complain about the frustrations in Japan, bit in both cases this is a hobby, not a right!!

Az, who's getting tired of this particular soapbox, and
will try to resist it next time!
