Good luck! (Thu May 11 17:43:39 2000 )

Dear Friend,

Good luck on your endeavors! Like I said, I had a friend in
a similar situation as you, and she was able to get eBay to
stop that shill seller's auctions even with the little proof
that she had (the fake bidder only bid on all that seller's
auctions, plus other "losers" were contacted with offers
after the "bidder" pulled out). In cases of shill bidding,
I think (although this is just my opinion and that of my
friend's) that eBay actually will favor the bidders more
than the sellers because it is very ILLEGAL! It's just for
those other cases of bidders getting cheated that eBay is
very non-active to participate in (Bad description for
auctions, sellers failing to mail out products after they
get their payments, etc.). I have had PLENTY of experiences
in that as well, and eBay was totally USELESS, but they do
take shill bidders quite seriously! Good luck again!

Sincerely,

Sonia
