Romanji literally means "roman letters" in Japanese.
Putting Japanese words into English letters is called
romanji.
Romanji is difficult to understand because some sounds have
multiple meanings. Until I got a Japanese wordprocessor,
dealing with people using Romaji messages was VERY
difficult.
Unfortunately, I had a few minor misunderstandings which
got cleared up once I resent the message in Japanese.
