I sympathize with you regarding the Last Unicorn
cels. I'd love one too, but simply can't/won't
pay those kind of huge dollars. ~_~ But at least
I know a gallery that has a cel from my favorite
scene: Molly meeting the unicorn. (*waves to the
cel's owner* I've only ever seen that one cel
from that sequence, so they should know who they
are. ^_~)

But as far as people being bitchy about having
offers made on their cels. . . I can't back you
there. I hate getting "offer e-mails" for my cels.
I do not get bitchy (I think being rude to someone
for any reason is an underrated "sin"), I simply
don't reply - as stated on the front page of my
cel section. Still, very frankly, it's annoying.

Does this mean I have never made an offer to
someone for a cel on their site? No. . . I have
made people offers. But I write and ask first if
they would be open to hearing one before making
an offer (unless their page indicates that they
are open to offers). And I do not make offers for
cels clearly marked NFS. That's just ridiculous.
If the person's page carried a disclaimer like
mine, I wouldn't even write to ask if they wanted
to hear an offer. It's simple *curteousy*.

Last, if I can comment on your assessment of
"stingy" regarding the people who have "a ton" of
Last Unicorn cels in their collections. . . That's
a very good way to tick people off quickly. If
people (collectors, at least) didn't want to keep
their cels, they wouldn't buy them. I have "a
ton" of Vampire Miyu cels - is that supposed to
mean that I should sell them off just because
there are other people who don't have any? I'm
not a charity and I don't know of any other
collector who is. . . If you want Last Unicorn
cels (which are primarily in private collections
now), you should drop that attitude and try
*making friends* with some of these collectors.
Maybe you'll find that they might think of you
if/when they want to sell one of their cels. Or
maybe they'll help you find one for sale from
someone else. But no one will help you if you
insult them. Not a flame, only some words to
ponder. . .

Many Sharp Smiles,
