Based on your comment about the Kagato cel price, 
I'm guessing you're talking about me. While cel 
prices do seem to skyrocket when a series hits the 
mainstream, I'd like to point out that I was 
collecting cels for about a year before Tenchi hit 
CN; I'm not throwing down $210 for a Kagato cel 
without some idea of what the price for a cel like 
that used to be (I have two Kagatos on display at 
the URL above, with prices listed; got 'em from 
Yann - oh, and I'm sorry that Netscape doesn't 
like that page, but I have validated the blasted 
thing; Netscape just can't handle valid 
stylesheets. Bummer, since I use NS 4.x)

Yeah, the price looks insane for a secondary 
character. And yes, in the storyline Kagato *is* a 
secondary character. But to me he's a primary 
character, one of my 2 or 3 favorites from Tenchi. 
And the only reason I'll go so high on a cel of 
Kagato is that I can't find them available 
elsewhere for ANY price; In the past year I've 
only seen about five of them show up, and the 
three that were on Chaos were gone within hours of 
the update. Hell, I haven't even seen a lot of 
gallery Kagatos, let alone ones where the gallery 
owner was willing to take offers...

Of course, if I'm wrong about the availability of 
certain characters, I'd be willing to hear about 
it...but in the meantime, if I want to be able to 
get any cels of my favorite characters, especially 
the rarer ones, I have to either beat other people 
to cel pages whenever there's an update, or pay 
the high price of auctions. I'm not doing this to 
cause others trouble, or to raise prices so I can 
turn around and sell what I buy.
