you probably do not know which scene this cel is
from, I recommend you watch episode #32 again,
the scene is so emotional, you might drop your
tear after watching episode#32, it was final
moment for Nuriko.
It is not just a normal profile, one eye cel,
this cel was from my personal collection, I have
extremly high standard, it is so very unlikely
for me to keep anything for my personal
collection that is less than top quality, unless
it is a very special cel, and this was a very
special cel for me, it was very expensive for me
to obtain as well, the price was even higher than
other perfect Nuriko cels I have, I can stare at
this cel and look at Nuriko's expression for
hours, just look at Nuriko's expression, the art
is so well done, you can feel so much emotion
just looking at it, honestly I never thought I
would part with any of my Nuriko cels, but in
this hobby, there are times you will have to let
some of your cels go unwillingly.
many Nuriko fans probably has cels from this
scene as their #1 wish list Nuriko cel, 3 people
ordered the same cel, (all three are well known
on this forum), before I put up an on hold sign,
and several collectors are still sending inquiry
about this cel after the cel was put on hold, I
guess they have finally found out that this is
from a special scene not just a one eye profile
cel.
This cel was bought by a very nice well know FY
collector who is also a regular in this forum.
The cel price in Japan is definitely a lot higher
than what it was 1, 2, even just 3 years ago,
there is basicly little or zero supply of good
cels locally in Japan.
While a cel from the same exact sequence would
cost me 5000yen even just 1 years ago, now the
cels from the same exact sequence may cost
15000yen.
I work extremely hard to obtain most of cels I
have, it is not easy and defintely not cheap.
