An "hanken" cel is a cel created for a LD/CD cover,
art-book, poster or other good. They are usualy bigger
of much better quality than cels used to make an animation.
They are also much much more expensive.

The "pinup" cels that Ed Noonchester posted at one time
on his site are _unlicenced_ _bootleg_ copies of hanken
cels. They are in no way differant from the ones that
CPM is currently auctioning. (in fact they even were
done by the same people). Only differance is that
CPM may have some more right to do it than Ed.

I won't answer to the question of the cost as it's
illegal to have such copies made. But most cels
dealers received sometime ago a letter from a Korean
studio that proposed to make such copies.

Cheers,
Yann Stettler
