As I pointed out in an earlier thread, the studios and
distributors (assuming they have the proper licenses) have
the absolute right to profit from their images...if they
want to make a thousand copy cels, so be it.  They have no 
obligation to protect the investments of cel collectors.

As for the Korean copy cels, I think they are much a less
of a problem than the AIC cels you mention.  Anyone who
is going to fork out hanken-type money should be well aware
that that the Korean cels are copies.  If they haven't 
heard about these by now, they can readily tell by 
examining the cels themselves.  The paint and the acetate 
are not the normal ones used by Japanese studios. 

However, I agree that the CPM auction postings are
misleading.  Although they point out that these are not
original production cels, they seemed to have deliberately
buried that in their text.  That bothers me.
