There is one easy way to tell that the Lemnear cel is not
the real Hanken cel. First there is no airbrushing on it.
The original one has several highlights that are airbrushed.
Something you can easily tell is not there from the scan.
With the copy cels that I have seen none of them have any
airbrushing on them. It's one of the ways to tell if the
cel is a hanken or copy, I'm yet to see any copys with them
(I don't doubt that some are out there though).

Also, on most hanken cels the entire image is not used. This
is hard to explain but I'll try.... On many Hanken cels
there will be a lot more image painted on the cel than may
actually appear in the product it's used for. So when you
are looking at the Lemnear cover you can see that her hair
is slighty cut off on the right side. As I remember (I
saw the genga for it) the entire hair is on the cel. Something
that was not put on this particular copy cel.

The best way to protect yourselves from copy Hanken cels is
to buy from only the most reputable dealers.
