My sentiments exactly.  It's kinda scary when there's cels
that have been made to the likeness of a real cel, and while
it may not have been the intention of the artist to pass it
off as a real cel, at some point a buyer is going to try to
do it to make a quick buck.  I used to be an avid Evangelion
Production cel collector, and while collecting, I came 
across fan cels that looked really good, and that scared me
to think that what if one of my eva cels were actually a 
well made fan cel, or just a fake.  Thank God I've learned 
paint layering technique so I can look out for the fakes vs.
the one painted by the animation professional.

Anyways, I too think that people should probably find another
medium to display and sell their anime art, because while 
not intentionally, shady activity will most likely be 
generated by cels.
