*bows* Hello, I am Ryouko. I'm a 18 year-old chica from the
Dallas / Fort Worth area of Texas, and I'm just
graduating highschool. I'm heading off to UTA
(University of Texas at Arlington) next Fall to major
in art and perhaps english, not quite sure on that part
yet. I currently work at a small card/gift shop in the
mall as part-time (which is really sucking right now
with the holidays and mother's day weekend. -.-;;)
I only started collecting cels seriously when I started
my job late last November. I bought my first cel though
back in September, at AnimeFest in Dallas, in which I
bought the Tamahome with the Oni symbol (still one of
my faves) from Curt at Asylum.
I only collect from Fushigi Yuugi, half because of my
limited budget and half because I can't see spending so
much money on any other series. I absolutely love all
the characters from FY, and the detailed art. It's
amazing to me. However I do love animes such as
Escaflowne, Utena, the Slayers, Saber Marionette J,
Tenchi Muyo and Sailormoon especially.
I've gone by the nick Ryouko for some odd 4 years now,
a long story to explain. Basically Tenchi Muyi : In
Love was the first real anime movie I ever saw, and
Ryoko was my most favourite character of all. When I
checked the spelling on the blockbuster tape case it
was spelled Ryouko, so I started using that. Even
though I later found it was wrong, I kept it anyways
since it was different. :o Tenchi Muyo : In Love still
remains my favourite anime movie of all.
